These "ladies" were gathered together as though in an exclusive club in an open field around the Luckenback, Texas area (home of "Willie and the Boys; i.e., Willie Nelson, who used to hold an annual birthday celebration every July 4th).

J.P. "Pat" Childress, a fifth generation Texan, was born and raised in the eastern oilfields of the state. He graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a M.B.A and after starting and later selling a holding company, Childress moved to the Hill Country of Texas. His interest in art is long standing; he constantly improves his techniques in oil painting and sculpting through workshops and classes with some of the most highly respected artists on today's art scene.
