This cowboy was actually taking part in a ranch hand rodeo in Kendall County, Texas. The herd of steers were captured over in Bandera (the cowboy capital of Texas!). The creek is about 5 miles from my home in the hill country of Texas.
About J P Childress
J.P. "Pat" Childress, a fifth generation Texan, was born and raised in the eastern oilfields of the state. He graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a M.B.A and after starting and later selling a holding company, Childress moved to the Hill Country of Texas.
